Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is "an absolute treat for kids," says The Weekly Review. Why? Because it's home to more than 10,000 aquatic animals, "including grey nurse sharks, stingrays, cute fish, turtles and frogs, and the rather terrifying saltwater crocodile Pinjarra." Allow a minimum of 2-3 hours to experience the Aquarium (in the heart of Melbourne CBD), recommends Mamma Knows North, to allow enough time to "admire the speedy and adorable Gentoo Penguins darting past underwater and the King Penguin's waddling along on the ice, some even cradling fluffy chicks on their feet," as well fish feeding, meeting the penguins on the ice and a Glass Bottom Boat tour "where groups can glide over the ocean tank to view the marine life below or go behind the scenes in the Stingray Encounter."
