A few of Sapa’s best places to eat

Hill Station Signature Restaurant: “By far the most imaginative dining option in Sapa … combines European design sensibilities with hill-tribe (mostly H'mong) cuisine … a range of set menus are available, or choose dishes such as homemade tofu, fresh river trout, and smoked buffalo from the à la carte options.” (Fodors)

Le Gecko “is a French-style café with very warm and romantic decoration … the café consists of two floors with a large balcony for sightseeing and enjoying the drinks … you can also try some fast food such as bánh mì and phở here.” (Maze Vietnam)

Sapa Memories: “You'll find all the usual Vietnamese staples here but there's also more adventurous local dishes, including fried frogs and venison … the dinky terrace at the front is a great place to sit back and watch Sapa daily life go by.” (Lonely Planet)

Nature View: “You can dine with a fantastic view of the hilly surroundings … on the menu are a mix of delicious Vietnamese and Western food items, and the dining experience is only further enhanced by the lovely service … the chicken sautéed in lemongrass and basil, grilled salmon, and the yoghurt sautéed chicken are worth a special mention.” (The Culture Trip)
